The Sanctuary is family owned and managed by the husband and wife team of Robert J. McKee and Mary Luz Rodriguez Alvarez. Its concept is simple but unique as it encompasses a specialty plant nursery and events venue. Our plant nursery focuses on bonsai, pre-bonsai and the nation’s leading breeding of Adenium, a/k/a Desert Rose. The Adenium is referred to as a Living Sculpture due to its special caudex (trunk) characteristics that sometimes resembles human like or animal-like forms. Our Sanctuary mainly incorporates natural elements into a magical creation, which helps its visitors to reconnect with Mother Nature.
Together, Mary Luz and Robert are creating a team of amazing people to serve and delight your senses in a healthful and spiritual natural setting. For whichever reason you come, the Sanctuary has what your heart needs. We look forward to helping you create your dream wedding or special event at the Sanctuary. We welcome weddings, engagement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens and quinces events to corporate seminars, holiday parties, workshops and retreats.
